Are you a Player? or a Pretender?

“Leaders do not try to “perform” for the followers’ benefit. They are open and truthful. They have nothing to hide. Truth really does set you free. You aren’t constantly trying to cover up. Pretending to be real is a lot more exhausting than just being real.”
Maxwell, John C. “Players vs. Pretenders.” Success (2011): 18-19

Great article truth family, take a read and find growth within yourselves. -TnL

“People fear what they don’t understand and hate what they can’t conquer.” ~ Andrew Smith

Can’t stop our ‘go’ Truth team. It’s been, is, and will continue to be a journey, but New Truth & Logic clothing is on the way and new philosophies are brewing. We’re looking to evolve and hoping you’ll evolve with us. We encourage you to fight fear tactics with a hunger for understanding. Trump hate with a rationality. “Open minds breathe easier” – TnL

TnL Food for thought…

“I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

“In a controversy the instant we feel anger we have already ceased striving for the truth, and have begun striving for ourselves.”~ Buddha

Hence why a controlled emotional temperament is important to keep during times of conflict…oh, Hey Truth team! Here’s a good one for you this week. I offer these words to trigger some thought. Think back to a time when your emotions caused you to fight to sink or swim. In the midst of struggling to swim, did you lose judgement of what was right, true, or even relevant? Did you lose the will to offer something valuable to the conflict?
There are some ideas that difficult decisions should be made free from emotions. Even that responses to opposing arguments should be delivered free from anger, or any emotion for that matter. There is some psychology behind this theory. It has to do with certain emotions triggering certain neurotransmitters which then cause your nervous system to involuntarily react…too much? Ha!, I’ll leave that to the professionals then. But try it, you may find that solutions will be reached quicker and truth will surface easier. And isn’t that what we ultimately want? The truth and a solution to our problems? Yessss
Have a great week, -Peace & Light be unto you

“Love truth, and pardon error.” ~ Voltaire

Great day Truth team, it’s been a minute(or not) since we last reached out. As a new and small organization, this quote is very befitting of where we are right now. Truth, enough said, love it, never plan to part from it. We are true to ourselves, flaws included. We encourage you to do the same. Acceptance allows you to open yourself to the next dimension, hence, you’ve got progress. And why not pardon error? Error, in its true nature, is sometimes a consequence of truth. Accept your errors, their errors, our errors, and expect growth to follow…-Stay encouraged

“Lies run sprints, but the truth runs marathons. The truth will win this marathon…” ~ Michael Jackson

It was such a treat to find words of truth from the late and great king of pop. As a fan, I will ignore his circumstances during the time this quote was made(feel free to google it!). I will however, focus on the strength behind the statement. Lies will indeed go a very short distance with truth looming and waiting for its debut. Truth cannot be tampered with and so it will surpass any measure of time and distance. Chew on that for a bit…till next time Truth team…-Deuces-

“A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.” ~Winston Churchill

Here is a fun one for you Truth&Logic nation! Lies travel far and fast, followed by consequences for something you did not do! Yes, yes, I feel your pain. Worry not, let’s start a new trend, one that moves us to verify information and confirm the truth before we make hasty decisions. Look at youuuu wearing your Truth armor!

“I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.” ~Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dr. King’s library of words are catalysts of conversation in themselves. That’s why this week, I won’t add to our quote in efforts to not dilute the message. I will just join you in absorbing the quote, and possibly meditate on some character building…

“A mind all logic is like a knife all blade. It makes the hand bleed that uses it” ~Rabindranath Tagore

As told by Bengali artist Tagore, “All logic” is a weapon compared to a blade. And why would it be implied that it’s harmful? Logic, by definition, is the formal principle of a branch of knowledge*. We aren’t to presume that a branch of knowledge has been identified as harmful. We are to think on the idea that logic exposes limits in its reason. Those limits are set by hard facts or evidence. That’s where the harm is committed. When and if we lock our ideas on what physical evidence exists, then we’ve limited our thinking, our ideas, and our creativity. Our creativity will explode into original ideas once we break past the limits of logic.
What say you?

“There’s a world of difference between truth and facts. Facts can obscure the truth.” ~Maya Angelou

Happy New Year family! This is ‘it’! Like every new year, this is THE one! Okay, well for some it will be, for some it was last year, and for others, it will be another year. However, there is no time like the present to choose to be a winner. Want to know what winners do? They succeed in spite of any obstacles placed in front of them. These obstacles will sometimes present themselves as truth. The truth will at times discourage you, slow you down, and push you toward waving the white flag. As it relies to Queen Maya’s quote, be careful not to indulge in facts from unreliable sources. A good friend once said, “Consider the source and let it go”; sketchy sources may deliver sketchy information. As I’ve mentioned before, the real truth will be at its origin.
Choose to be a winner, and just make this year a greater one than the last…
